Binance founder CZ will be returning to the spotlight at Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai following his prison time in the US.

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder and former CEO of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, will make his first public appearance at Blockchain Week in Dubai for the first time since his release from a correctional facility in California, United States.
In a social media post on Wednesday, CZ announced that he will take center stage at around 4:00 PM local time. The Binance blockchain event is scheduled to start today, October 30, at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
UXUY to Reward Attends with an Airdrop
The Binance founder will join a lineup of speakers, including the company’s current CEO, Richard Teng, Dubai Future Foundation CEO HE Khalfan Belhoul, and Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, to discuss various topics within the crypto industry, including technology, regulation, community, and the social impact of blockchain.
The two-day event is themed “Momentum” and, according to a separate press release, will emphasize the importance of harnessing the driving forces of the crypto industry to overcome current challenges.
During the event, attendees will receive a surprise airdrop from the BNB Chain ecosystem. Tokens that will be distributed to users include BNB, FDUSD, and other digital assets based on the network.
However, to qualify for the airdrop, users will first receive a new limited edition NFC card designed by UXUY, a multi-chain platform backed by Binance Labs, the exchange’s investment and incubator arm. Participants are required to create a UXUY Telegram wallet with the card to receive the airdrops directly.
A Multi-Chain Telegram Wallet
UXUY explained that the new Telegram wallet was not just created specifically for the airdrop; it serves as the first decentralized multi-chain wallet on Telegram. This means that participants can use the wallet like their regular Web3 wallets, such as MetaMask and Trust Wallet.
Currently, the product supports up to 21 blockchains, including BNB Chain, Bitcoin Lightning Network, Base, Solana, and TRON. Additionally, it boasts a growing user base of nearly 1.5 million, with the goal of eventually onboarding 900 million users.
Meanwhile, apart from the airdrop distribution during the Binance Blockchain Week, the event will welcome the long-anticipated “Innovation Stage,” where attendees will get to witness all the advanced innovations in crypto. These innovations include cutting-edge platforms, tools, DeFi, NFTs, and other emerging trends such as restaking solutions and asset tokenization.
“This year’s Binance Blockchain Week not only brings together top leaders in the crypto industry but also introduces the eagerly awaited Innovation Stage,” Binance said in a press release.
